Coach for: UJFC U12s
Footballing History: I started playing playing when I was at primary school and went onto play for Junior league teams in the Stafford League and progressed into Sunday league as an avid centre back.
Supports: The mighty Wolverhampton Wanderers
Favourite Player of All Time: Steve Bull is my favourite player of all time, I went to my first Wolves game when they played a friendly and Steve scored a hat trick and he then helped Wolves to successive promotions with over 50 goals two seasons in a row. As a junior every time he had the ball you thought he was going to score.
Best UJFC Memory: The best memory was at Rotary club tournament where we split our team into 2 sides and we both played each other in the final taking it to penalties. A great game and a great tournament.
Interesting Fact/Story: As a boy we used to play 11 a side Football on a school field opposite to where I lived. One of my team mates was Totenham and England centre back Anthony Gardener. I also bowled out the Wolves legendary goal keeper Mike Stowell in a fundraising game.
Coaching Philosophy: My basic philosophy is to treat everyone how you wish to be treated. On the sports field itโs about helping everyone to improve, through hard work, commitment and determination. The power of YET is fundamental to having a growth mindset, I try and Instil this in all players. Never set a limit on what you can be. The key to all sport is enjoying what you do. As a player, coach, supporter or Official. A key quote sums up my philosophy Success is the sum of small efforts repeated and perfect practice leads to perfect performance.
