Footballing History: Having grown up in the North East I have only ever played football although you probably couldn’t tell. I played for Chester-le-street (who Bryan Robson once played for) before going to University and playing as a striker in the South Wales Amateur league for 10 years. 3 pints for a win and a yard of ale for a hat trick … Happy days.

Best UJFC Memory: Watching a group of U5 kids come together at the start of their journey and move from ‘what time is it Mr Wolf drills’ to a competitive U7 team scoring 20+ goals in their first league game.
Interesting Fact/Story: I watched Sunderland lose at wembley in 2 league cup finals, 1 FA cup final, 3 Playoff finals and a checkatrade final on penalties before finally seeing the mighty black cats triumph in the 2022 League one playoff final vs Wycombe Wanderers. Persistence pays off but after years of heartache it was all worth it especially sharing that moment with my boys, brother-inlaw, nephews and 50,000 emotional mackems ❤️
