WAYNE ROBERTS
Nationality: 🏴
Coach for: UJFC U7 White ⚪
Footballing History: I think I’m the longest serving coach, I’ve been coaching since 2010. I have got my FA level 1. I started with my now 18-year-old when he was four and take all the way through until under 16’s. during the last year of his age group I started coaching my youngest daughter with her now starting in the new season in an under 7’s team as the only girl in the team. I also helped coach my middle daughter for a season with Doveridge when they needed help. My son has followed my footsteps into coaching and has been helping my brother-in-law Andy Sims with his under 9’s since the start. My 12-year-old daughter also helps me and Rob on a Monday night with the under 7’s.
Supports: I am a huge Stoke city fan and have had a season ticket for 32 years.
Best UJFC Memory: My favourite junior’s moment is winning the summer cup with my lads in 2018. It was one of the best footballing team displays I’ve seen at a junior’s level. The opposition manger compared us to Man city at the time.
Coaching Philosophy: My footballing philosophy is PASS PASS PASS. T.E.A.M :- together everyone achieves more. I ensure kids have a football at there feet as much as possible.
